Echo 1 is a piece that carries both weight and stillness. It is part of the Echo collection, which centers on finding beauty in what already exists — and on how every choice continues forward like an echo into the future.

The artwork is created directly on a coarse jute rug, where natural imperfections, frayed edges, and uneven texture are intentionally preserved. The warm tone of the jute provides a grounded base, while the dark brushstrokes introduce rhythm, movement, and contrast.

Echo 1 was created on a warm day, allowing sharp, instinctive marks to meet softer, more diffused areas. Together, they mirror the duality of life — structured yet chaotic, challenging yet beautiful.
