Together

Together is a reminder of what it means to have people close to us. We were never meant to be isolated from those who love us. The painting originally looked very different, but it has been deliberately layered with color to show how the boundaries between people blur when we choose to come close. It is a powerful reminder that we are never truly alone and that we are not meant to be.

The canvas is a linen blend, intentionally turned “wrong side out” to highlight the warm, beige texture of the back. It is hand-stretched over a handcrafted stretcher frame from Småland, giving the work a solid, tactile, and authentic feel.
